Solid Advertisement support and a unique offer of 1 year's Free Accident Insurance to each buyer of the book helped sell - out 60% - an unprecedented figure for a Business Directory But we were totally in the red!

But we were on a high and did not falter. Our perspective was to cover the entire Northeast and we sat forth with full gusto. It took us nearly 2 years to come out with the bigger, better NORTH EAST YELLOW PAGES 2005-06 which - thanks to the faith of our Patrons, their encouragement and patience - is being released today. The going has been extremely tough: collection of data from 8 different states is not easy to say the least. This was only possible due to the dedication and real hard work led by our Senior Consultant; Joy Saab, and the Field Service Executives, Franchisees and ofcourse, the back office Staff. We are also extremely greatful to the Central Government Undertaking and the Government of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh & Meghalaya and a host of Major Corporates, both of the Region & National.

NORTH EAST YELLOW PAGES 2005-06 has 406 pages. The first Colour & Blue Pages section provides Information regard the Region, its Economic back-up, Industrial Scenario and Tourism, Add-ons include Basic information about the 8 N.E. States, Helplines of the State Capitals and Comprehensive Government Information starting from his Excellency the Governor to the Director Level. The Yellow Pages Section has a 13 page Cross Index introducing Major Businessmen, Corporates, Industry, Professionals & NGO's, STD/ISD Information is also provided. The costing, as promised, has been reduced to Rs.250/- and is backed by BUSSINESS HELPLINE (91-361-2201831), WEBSITE: www.neyp.biz and a CD of the entire Data Base: Again a 1st in the North-East. We are not saying that the good work is complete - we have miles to go yet - as we believe that we can only get better.

NORTH EAST YELLOW PAGES is now going to be a Regular Annual Publication. We are also planning to start the ONE Series of Exclusive Tourism related books on Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya & Nagaland initially.
